The first four bars are unchanged. Then the band - except for the bass - starts playing in different keys... but the vocal and bass remains in the original key.
Now, this song was recorded in 1976, and I don't have access to the original multitracks. My only source was the stereo CD re-release "Eagles Greatest Hits 2". So I couldn't process the band's tracks separately.
But I obviously did. If you've figured out how, drop me a note and I'll tell you if you're right.
NOTE: You'll only hear this effect if you listen in stereo. If you listen in mono, it sounds like the original recording.
